Prices from outside the UK include about 20% import VAT. Over £135 the courier may add a handling fee, and customs duty can apply. Work out the full cost with the import cost calculator.
A * after the working status means it comes from the seller's description, not the title.
Before you buy a used GW690 & GSW690
- Check the frame counter: these were often rental cameras with heavy use.
- Check the rangefinder and the leaf shutter.
- Check the rangefinder patch is bright and lines up at infinity and vertically.
- Check the shutter at every speed and the light seals around the back.
- Pay through eBay. eBay's Money Back Guarantee covers a camera that doesn't work as described, but only if you pay through eBay. Our used film camera checklist has the tests to do the day it arrives.
Battery: None needed. The shutter works without one. Battery finder →
Questions buyers ask
How much is a used GW690 & GSW690 worth?
On eBay UK today a tested / working Fujifilm GW690 & GSW690 typically costs £1,001 delivered, with most between £836 and £1,032. These are asking prices, so many sell for a little less, especially with Best Offer.
Is it cheaper to buy a GW690 & GSW690 from Japan?
46 of the 50 Fujifilm GW690 & GSW690 listings on eBay UK right now are posted from Japan. Japanese dealers grade cosmetic condition carefully ("Near Mint", "Exc+5"), but you pay import VAT and sometimes a courier fee, and returns take longer. All the prices on this page already include the VAT estimate.
What battery does the GW690 & GSW690 take?
None needed. The shutter works without a battery; it only powers the meter.
Is a tested GW690 & GSW690 worth paying more for?
Right now tested examples are listed at about £90 (10%) more than ones where the seller doesn't say. A film-tested camera is the safest buy: an untested one can need a service costing £60 to £150.
What should I check before buying a used GW690 & GSW690?
Check the frame counter: these were often rental cameras with heavy use. Check the rangefinder and the leaf shutter.
Are these sold prices?
No, they're asking prices from live eBay listings, refreshed daily. We record the daily typical price, so the history chart shows how asking prices move.
