Before you buy a used M6 (2022 reissue)
- Still sold new by Leica: compare used prices with the new price before buying.
- Check the rangefinder patch is bright and lines up at infinity and vertically.
- Check the shutter at every speed and the light seals around the back.
- Pay through eBay. eBay's Money Back Guarantee covers a camera that doesn't work as described, but only if you pay through eBay. Our used film camera checklist has the tests to do the day it arrives.
Battery: CR1/3N or 2x SR44 (meter only). The shutter works without one. Battery finder →
